NLP & Hypnotherapy Can Build Your Self-Confidence
A social phobia is a fear of interacting with others on a social level. Examples would be imagining others are looking at you while waiting in line at a checkout, talking in front of other people, or even fear of talking on the phone.
Self-confidence is a demeanor that allows people to have decisive, yet realistic views of themselves and their predicament. Self-confident people have faith in their own know-how, have a general sense of control over their lives, and have belief that, within reason, they will be able to do what they want to do.
Confidence is a demeanor that is conditioned through experiences. When a person experiences success, that person will tend to expect success at his/her endeavors. And that expectation will cause a feeling of confidence.
As an example: A young man wants to be a prizefighter, so he gets a manager and a trainer. His manager will not arrange a bout until he has developed enough skill and stamina. And even then, the manager will only put him up against a challenger that he knows his fighter can crush. When his fighter beats the contender, he is successful, and starts to gain self-confidence in his fighting skills.
With each encounter, the manager puts his contender up against an adversary who is only a slightly better competitor then the last, but not good enough to beat his gladiator. By the end of the third fight, the young contestant begins to expect to win his fourth, and so his confidence continues to increase. This scenario continues to repeat itself. And as long as the fighter contestant continues to win, his expectations of success, and his feelings of self-confidence will continue to accrue.
If a person who has a long history of success and feelings of confidence does fail, they still tend to expect success the next time out. Conversely, when a person who is weak in the confidence department fails, they tend to lose confidence, and begin to expect failure, which often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Having true self-confidence doesn't mean that individuals will be able to do everything. People, who have true self-confidence, usually have expectations that are sensible. Even when some of their expectations are not met, they continue to be positive and to accept themselves.
People, who are not self-confident, tend to lean unreasonably on the acceptance of others in order to feel self-assured. They tend to avoid taking risks because they fear failure. They put themselves down and tend to discount or ignore compliments that they do receive.
On the other side of the coin, confident people are willing to risk the disapproval of others because they generally have faith in their own potential. They tend to accept themselves; and they don't feel that they have to conform in order to be approved.
Just because a person feels self-confidence in one or more aspects of their life, doesn't mean that they will feel self-confident in every single part of their life. For example, a person might feel self-confident about their athletic talents, but not feel confident as far as members of the opposite sex are involved, such as in a dating situation, or social relationships.

Overcoming a Weak Penis Erection
Nothing can dampen a man's self-esteem or put an end to a steamy encounter like a weak erection at just the wrong time, but unfortunately, it happens to virtually every man on occasion. Erectile issues can be caused by a variety of different issues, so for men who experience more than occasional difficulties, it is important to determine the underlying cause. Often, treating a related health condition can solve the problem, and with the right approach to penis health care, men can be ready when the opportunity arises.
Health issues related to erectile dysfunction
1. Cardiovascular disease - As most men know, the penis requires a surge of blood in order to become erect. As a result, any issue which interferes with circulation can impair the ability to achieve or maintain an erection. Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of erectile dysfunction, and in many cases, weak erections can be the first sign that something is wrong. Clogged arteries, reduced heart function due to a defect or heart disease, or even restrictive clothing can limit the amount of blood that can reach the penis.
2. Smoking - Cigarette smoking has numerous detrimental effects on the body; one of the most damaging when it comes to erectile health, as well as overall physiological function, is the damage it causes to the circulatory system. Hardening and narrowing of the blood vessels due to smoking severely limits the blood flow available to develop and maintain an erection.
3. Diabetes - Individuals with uncontrolled diabetes are likely to experience significant health problems that affect most systems of the body. High levels of glucose (sugar) in the blood can damage the organs and nerves, leading to loss of function in many areas. Men who are diabetic often have poor circulation to the extremities (meaning the arms, legs and penis). In addition, diabetic neuropathy - or nerve damage related to high blood sugar -can disrupt the signals that are sent from the brain to the penis to trigger an erection.
4. Low testosterone - Low levels of testosterone can lead to reduced sex drive, as well as less firm erections. Treating the factors that are causing low testosterone may help to reverse this problem, leading to greater interest in sex and improved performance.
5. Stress - Stress and related emotional problems can take their toll in the bedroom. From a purely physiological point of view, stress and anxiety increase the amount of cortisol - the so-called stress hormone - that is released in the body. Cortisol has an inhibiting effect on the neurotransmitter dopamine, which is largely responsible for feelings of well-being and attractiveness; these are closely related to the ability to become sexually aroused. Issues such as job-related stress, clinical depression, financial difficulties, family problems, partner conflict or illness can all lead to a mental state that is not conducive to sexual health, if steps are not taken to manage the related stress. Taking the time to cope with stressful issues and to relax and unwind can go a long way toward improving sex-related problems.

Causes of frequent Urination in Men
Many men experience an increase in the frequency at which they have to urinate as they get older. This is exceedingly common among older men. However, if you are a man that is "always having to go", don't just dismiss it as aging. There are many causes of frequent urination and the symptom needs to be checked out by a physician.
Frequent urination defined
Always having to go or feeling the need to urinate more often than is usual is called frequent urination. This differs from urgent urination which is an urgent, compelling need to urinate. This can be accompanied with bladder discomfort.
If the need to urinate occurs at night, it is termed nocturia. Normally, a person can sleep for between 6 and 8 hours without the need to urinate.
Common causes
When experienced simultaneously, a frequent, urgent need to go to the bathroom is a classic symptom of an infection in the urinary tract. Typically, the infection will cause an inflammation of the bladder which, in turn, reduces the bladder's capacity to hold urine. In this case, even a small amount of urine can be uncomfortable.
These symptoms can also be caused by:
Diabetes.
A condition called interstitial cystitis, which is a chronic, constant inflammation of the bladder. This is more common in women than men, but bears checking out.
Diuretics as well as other medicines.
Therapeutic radiation.
Dysfunction of the bladder.
Cancer of the bladder.
All of these are known to cause frequent urination, but there is one extremely common cause that is overlooked by many men. That is an enlarged prostate and affects more men than you probably know.
The prostate gland is a walnut sized gland that secretes seminal fluid (the fluid that carries the sperm cells). The gland itself surrounds the urethra, which carries urine out through the penis. As the prostate grows larger, it may exert pressure on the urethra and cause problems with frequent urination.
Causes of enlarged prostate
The prostate wraps around the urethra between the rectum and the pubic bone. Early in the development of an enlarged prostate, the muscle of the bladder contracts more powerfully than usual and pressurizes urine through the urethra. The bladder muscle responds by gaining thickness and sensitivity. This causes the need to urinate often.
The larger the prostate grows, the tighter is squeezed. The bladder then cannot compensate for the problem and empties entirely.
Symptoms of an enlarged prostate
Actually, an enlarged prostate is accompanied by no symptoms at all. There are few things to watch for, like:
A weak stream of urine or a stop/start during urination.
Finding it difficult to start urinating.
Dribbling of urine after urination.
Feeling like you are not done.
Leakage of urine (incontinence).
Frequent urination or an urgent need to go, especially during the night time.
If you have experienced any of the above, go to a doctor and get checked out immediately. An enlarged prostate only gets worse over time if it is overlooked. It could also lead to other more serious conditions.

Walking barefoot may be of good health for you
Walking barefoot outside with the soles of your feet free to mesh with the surface of the earth, a process called earthing or grounding, has been shown to be good for your health. There is growing research showing that this connection to the Earth's surface plays a vital role in preventing disease and offers a host of benefits from improved sleep to pain relief. An article in the Journal of Environmental and Public Health states that:
"It is an established, though not widely appreciated fact, that the Earth's surface possesses a limitless and continuously renewed supply of free or mobile electrons.
… Mounting evidence suggests that the Earth's negative potential can create a stable internal bioelectrical environment for the normal functioning of all body systems. Moreover, oscillations of the intensity of the Earth's potential may be important for setting the biological clocks regulating diurnal body rhythms, such as cortisol secretion."
To put it simply, it's thought that the influx of free electrons from the Earth's surface will help to neutralize free radicals and reduce both acute and chronic inflammation, which is at the root of many health conditions and accelerated aging.
In another article, the researchers found a myriad of health benefits from grounding that included improvements in: Sleep disturbances, Chronic Muscular and joint pain, stress and hypertension to name a few.
The best way to become grounded is as simple as taking off your shoes and walking barefoot on the earth. Studies suggest that benefits such as pain relief and stress reduction may occur in just 30-80 minutes of barefoot time a day. The other option is to use grounding or Earthing pad, which allows you to get the benefits of the Earth's electrons even if you're indoors, especially when you're sleeping.
The Journal of Environmental and Public Health, researchers concluded:
"Emerging evidence shows that contact with the Earth—whether being outside barefoot or indoors connected to grounded conductive systems—may be a simple, natural, and yet profoundly effective environmental strategy against chronic stress, ANS [autonomic nervous system] dysfunction, inflammation, pain, poor sleep, disturbed HRV [heart rate variability], hypercoagulable blood, and many common health disorders, including cardiovascular disease.
The research done to date supports the concept that grounding or earthing the human body may be an essential element in the health equation along with sunshine, clean air and water, nutritious food, and physical activity."

Wli Water fall in Ghana.
Wli Waterfalls cascades from a height of 60-80 meters, and is the highest falls in West Africa. The hills mark the border between Ghana and neighboring Togo. A walk through the forest of the Agumatsa wildlife sanctuary offers a chance to see large colony of fruit bats, butterflies, birds, monkeys and baboons. To get there one has to walk through the Rain Forest on a small footpath crossing 9 smaller streams in the process
The falls itself is a 45 minute easy hike of gorgeous scenery into the forest. It's one of those experiences where you turn around a corner and hear the rushing noise of the waterfall and there it is in all its glory.
Just watching the falls is great enough, but why watch them, when you can swim in them! Don't forget your bathing suit on this day trip and jump in the water! See how close you can get to the thundering water, and if you're daring enough, walk right under the falls to the rock wall behind it.
Look up and you'll see a dark shadow over the rocks overhead. But it's not a shadow, it's bats! Disturb them too much and a dark cloud with swarm over the falls and throw a shadow over the small pool, but don't worry, they don't get very close. This is an opportunity not to be wasted, but a spectacular scene that will actually add to your memories for future reference. Bring a picnic and spend an afternoon in the cool water on a hot day!
Apart from the refreshing swimming of the water, you can also take a rest in one of the cottage and enjoy the local food in a local restaurant which is located in and around the Hohoe township. This will afford you the opportunity to experience a typical Ghanaian taste.
In other to get to Wli Waterfall, you will have to board a public bus from Accra to Hoho which is about 230 kilometer journey. On reaching Hohoe, you can take a bus to wli water fall but you will have to alight on the way and continue on a footpath to the bank of the fall. Another attraction about Wli is the luxurious forest environment currently designated as the Agumatsa wildlife sanctuary. Accessibility is another advantage for Wli, visitors don’t have to climb any hills or descend steep valleys to get to the foot of this awesome geological monument.
For your Bookings and Tour services to Wli Waterfall, kindly contact FKF Horizon Tours or call +233 24 3566 315 for prompt services.

Peeping Through The Christmas Box
If wishes were horses beggars would surely ride without ending. But now that Christmas is drawing near and nearer, it is possible for you to have a master plan as to how you are going to celebrate it. Your plan must be very clear and simple and must be devoid of any financial burden. That is to say that, no matter what situation you find yourself in, you are inevitably going to experience the day.
From our earliest memories Christmas in the secular sense is a huge build-up of hopes and promises for all the answers to our wildest dreams and desires. Many children start out early in life with the fantasy figure of Santa Claus who will shower them with all the gifts and desires their little minds can conceive.
As we mature the fantasy is stripped away by reality and the mystery of all those secret gifts is revealed. The contents of those boxes may be what we asked for, but it may not be what we wished for. If we are being honest, with ourselves and with others, there comes a point in life where each of us comes face to face with the reality of not getting what we want for Christmas. Rather than greeting this moment with the ultimate in disappointment, it might benefit each and every one of us to respond to this life passage with a sigh of relief.
The solution to the age old problem of looking at the aftermath of Christmas Day and wondering, "Is that all there is?" is to stop looking outward for someone to supply that solution to the quintessential need within. If you didn't get what you wanted for Christmas, it is more than a little likely that you did not give what was needed for Christmas. The old adage "It is better to give than to receive" must surely have found its birth on Christmas morning. The gift that each of us craves deep inside, whether we realize it and are ready to admit it or not, is the need to fulfill that Christmas desire for someone else.
The Christmas gift you want will not be found under your Christmas tree. It won't be wrapped neatly in holly covered wrapping paper and tied with a silver ribbon. The Christmas spirit does not come in a box. If you are truly seeking the gift that will touch your soul this Christmas and make you realize the deeper spiritual meaning you are craving, you must reach outward. This year, if you don' t want to contend with the disappoint that comes from not getting whatever it is you thought you wanted, give a gift from your heart and direct it somewhere where its need is most profound.
Volunteer your time at a soup kitchen, a homeless shelter or a home for battered women. Reach out to a neighbor who is alone or down on their luck and bring the spirit of Christmas into their lives by paying attention to them and bringing small gifts. Donate gifts to one of many organizations devoted to providing Christmas for those in need. Take your good spirit to hospitals, nursing homes or rehabilitation facilities and brighten the day of someone who is feeling the lose of not getting what they want for Christmas a lot more than you. Express your love and appreciation to your friends and family, not necessarily in the form of a gift, and let them know you are taking time out at this special time of the year to acknowledge the value they bring to your life.
It's time to give up looking for someone else to provide us with the gift we've been waiting and hoping for all year long. That outlook is sure to end in despair. If you really hope to get what you want for Christmas, find someone whose need surpasses your own. When your heart fills with the warmth and joy of giving you will receive everything you need this Christmas. In other words, just keep on peeping through the Christmas box, and you will definitely find a perfect solution to your needs in this cooing Christmas.

Foods That Make you Fat
Do you even know the foods that make you fat? Studies show that our perception of what is fat does not reflect reality. According to different studies, roughly one third of adults and almost twenty percent of children in North America are fat. Not to mention how many adults and children are significantly obese. Research also show that the majority of fat adults and children do not consider themselves as such.
Obesity can lead to a whole host of harsh diseases from type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure, thickening of the heart muscle, and high cholesterol levels) to terminal cases such as heart disease and stroke.
"The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison."
- Dr. Ann Wigmore
Foods That Make You Fat
The fact is, we do not pay attention to what we put into our bodies and we suffer the results. Worse, our kids pay the price for our ignorance. Changing eating habits can take some research and it won't happen overnight. But there are some easy changes you can make today that will dramatically benefit you and your children and set you on the path to a healthier, leaner you.
Step #1
Cut out the coke, soda, and juice. Replace it with water. Did you know that a glass of unsweetened fruit juice contains roughly the same amount of sugar as a can of pop? We often don't realize the calories we take in through beverages. These high sugar drinks not only add empty calories but are also triggers telling our bodies to store fat.
Step #2
Eat veggies or fruit with EVERY meal. These are not foods that make you fat! The fiber we get in fruits and veggies help us digest our fats and sugars better essentially reducing the likelihood that what we eat gets stored as fat. Make at least a third of your plate fruits and vegetables!
Step#3
Never skip breakfast. This meal triggers your metabolism revving for the day. If you are the kind of person who dashes out the door without breakfast, just stock your fridge with some fruit so you can at least grab an apple, banana, or orange as you step out the front door.
Step #4
Never eat late. Late night eating is one sure way to add on the pounds as your body's metabolism starts to shut down in the evening. Try not to eat anything after 7pm. If you find you are starving, go for a salad or some fruit.
These are just some basic guidelines to get you going, but these changes will make a significant improvement to your waistline. Try to also be a little more lively. You don't have to start running marathons, but a thirty to forty-five minute walk every day can burn a heck of a lot of calories. If you make the above dietary changes and begin with a simple walking routine once a day you will definitely see a significant drop in weight and get you on the path to a healthier you.
